  5. Signal Equipment is carried on the table of organization of the infantry regimental headquarters Company's communication platoon. The platoon contains a battalion section for the for each Infantry Battalion. Infantry headquarters Company connected to battalion headquarters by a telephone line laid by the battalion communications section. The company does not contain any radio equipment;
  6. Additionally, each weapons company has 20 CE-11 reel units each with 0,25 miles of assault wire and 1 EE-8 telephone. This provides telephone communication intra company and with other elements of the battalion;
