Note:

  1. Total patient capacity of center is dependent on the number of general hospitals assigned to the center. A center with 3 general hospitals and 1 convalescent camp will have a normal capacity of 4000 beds and a maximum capacity of 8000 beds. A center of 10 general hospitals will have a maximum capacity of 22000 beds. This capacity includes crisis expansion;
  2. Each hospital center will require laundry, motor, transport, bakery and other quartermaster personnel, also military police, finance, postal and Signal Corps detachments. The amount of this additional personnel depends upon the size of the centers and whether the centers are to be located in the zone of the interior or the communications zone..
  3. 66 PFC or PVT = 2 PFC + 64 PVT
  4. 46 Officers = 1 Brigadier General + 1 Colonel + 12 Lieutenant Colonels + 7 Majors + 16 Captains + 9 1st Lieutenants;
